Accessibility
The website of Nyon has been developed according to the standards and rules of accessibility decreed by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in order to guarantee access to every user, independent of his IT equipment (hardware, software, internet connexion) or his physical aptitudes.
Respect of the W3C specifications
The web pages of the site are in conformity with the directives of accessibility to web contents (WCAG) decreed by the workgroup WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative). They adhere to the main rules of level 1 and 2.
This website de facto also takes into account the norms decreed by the law of 13.12.2002 about the equality for the handicapped (LHand) (RS 151.3).
The HTML code of the web pages is in conformity with the XHTML 1.1 specification of the W3C, whereas the CSS code adheres to the CSS2 specification.
Choice of the characters' size
At the top right of each page, two buttons allow the user to adjust the size if the characters according to your needs:
[T+]: increases the size of the characters
[T-]: diminishes the size of the characters

The Nyon website has been developed in order to be consulted while using the majority of combinations navigation and system softwares.
It is nevertheless optimized for the following configurations:
A PC with Windows XP/Vista and an official version of an internet navigator:
- Internet Explorer from version 6.0 SP2 upwards
- or Firefox from version 2.0 upwards
Or a Mac with OS X and an official version of an internet navigator:
- Safari from version 3.0 upwards
